Manja Schreiner (born April 29, 1978 in Wismar ) is a German lawyer and business expert. She has been Managing Director of the Berlin Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) since the beginning of 2024, where she represents the interests of Berlin’s economy – with a particular focus on recruiting skilled workers and sustainable training concepts.
She was previously Berlin Senator for Mobility, Transport, Climate Protection and the Environment (2023-2024) in the Wegner Senate. Her professional career began in the legal department of AIDA Cruises and led her through positions at the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH) to become Managing Director of Fachgemeinschaft Bau Berlin und Brandenburg e.V.
In addition to her economic expertise, she is politically active and was a member of the CDU Berlin for many years, including as deputy state chairwoman.
